I come to you with some disturbing (though not surprising) news. Apparently, both of our current senators, Roland Burris and Dick Durbin voted against the halting of federal funds going to ACORN.
The only conclusion I can come to is that they both believe that it is perfectly okay to use taxpayer money to set up prostitution rings, smuggle illegal immigrants into this country and traffic in under age sex slaves.

Be sure to contact senators Burris (http://burris.senate.gov/contact/contact.cfm) and Durbin (http://durbin.senate.gov/contact.cfm), and let them know just how you feel about your tax dollars going to the corrupt organization.

While you are at it, make a note to yourself not to forget about this; the next time either of these men comes up for election.

Dick Durbin is sure to run for re-election to what he considers "his" seat in the senate, though in fact it belongs to the citizens of Illinois. And although Roland Burris has apparently decided not to run for re-election as an Illinois senator, as a career politician, he is sure to eventually run for some other office, so file this issue in mind under the heading of "unworthy politicians".
