Q- How many obamanites does it take to change a light bulb?

A- Hundreds of thousands of them, each one a lying politician, an unnecessary bureaucrat or an over paid member of the government employees union, who’s primary purpose is to fill out a dozen government forms, in triplicate, in order to pass the task of changing the light bulb on to the next person in the chain, thus costing the American taxpaying citizens millions of their hard earned dollars and insuring that the light bulb will never be changed until B.O. and his Social(ist) Democrat cohorts can pass a new law that mandates that every American replaces all of his or her own perfectly good, very dependable and relatively cheap incandescent light bulbs with those twisty, comparatively expensive CFLs (compact fluorescent lamps), that produce a harsh light, have an all too common tendency to over heat and catch on fire, and require special disposal procedures in order to prevent the mercury and other toxic substances in them from getting into the environment and poisoning us all.

Okay... So maybe it isn't very funny. Call it "Black Comedy" or "Dark Humor". You know what I mean. One of those things that that rather than making you say "That's funny", it makes you say "There's something funny about that". After all, there really isn't anything amusing about what B.O. and the rest of this "Blame America first" administration has been doing to this great nation is funny.

Ray Stevens' Response to Obamacare

I found the video below on Bungalow Bill’s Blog this morning. Apparently he found it on The Right Stuff.

All I can say is that I am very grateful to both of them for two reasons.

1) I really enjoy Rat Stevens’ amusing way of getting to the point.
2) Ray hits the nail squarely on the head with this one. Especially when he says the we are “being royally defecated upon”.

Off Target

I wanted to share the video below with you. It is another of the typically amusing creations of PJTV 's Steven Crowder. I must however warn you that the impersonation of Horacio Caine is adequate at best. Although Steven's exagerated mimicking of some of the more idiosyncratic mannerisms of the character are amusing, his voice is just not right.

The video is appears to have been inspired by the Scrooge like policy of the Target chain of stores. This is a long time policy that Target says was implemented to “…provide a distraction-free shopping environment…”. So as I read that, Target wants to be sure that we have as much money in our pockets as possible to spend inside the store. Therefore they took steps to deny us the option of giving some of our money to a Salvation Army bell ringer in front of the store.

Target states that “This policy does not diminish our support of The Salvation Army”. Well maybe not, but it certainly deprives Target customers of at least one opportunity to show Christian charity to those in need.

I stopped shopping a Target a long time ago for many reasons, not the least being this policy. Now Target has every right to set its own policy on how to deal with this kind of thing. But as far as I am concerned any company that maintains and enforces this kind of policy does not deserve my money.

Children of EIB Respond to Children of WWF

The liberal environmental-cases at the World Wildlife Federation have produced a commercial in which they use their own children (at least that is what they claim) to promote the U.N. Climate Change Conference (scheduled to be held between December 7 and December 18, of 2009 in Copenhagen Denmark) and to encourage B.O. to surrender the sovereignty of the United States of America, and the freedom of its citizens, to what would amount to a "World Wide Environmental Regulatory Commission" to be created at that comference.

Under the guise of saving the Earth from the alleged destructive consequences of human activity, this conference is in reality an effort by other (read looser) member nations of the U.N. to drag the United States of America down to, or below, their own second or third world status.

As he so often does, and does so very well, Rush Limbaugh has produced a wonderful parody of the WWF propaganda piece. Listen and enjoy.
