Ronald Reagan is Remembered in Berlin

Despite the fact that Ronald Reagan was the single most significant person responsable for the fall of the Berlin Wall, he was completely ignored by the likes of B.O and Hilary Clinton during the 20th anniversary commemoration of that historic event. But Ronald Reagan has not been forgotten by people he helped to set free from soviet socialist east Germany. It Was 20 Years Ago Today

On this, the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, many people will watch videos, listen too recordings, read transcripts of, and share the great speech given by the greatest man to run for and be elected to the office of the President of the United States of America in the entire 20th century.

His words rang true on that twelfth day of June, in the year of our LORD nineteen hundred and eighty seven. And they ring just as true today.

It is a sad fact that B.O. has chosen not to personally attend the ceremonies commemorating the fall of that cold and ugly symbol so socialist enslavement of the people. He apparently is too busy to do so. So he made a video appearance instead. But then, that should come as no real surprise. The fall of that Berlin wall was possibly the most profound and momentous evidence and demonstration of the collapse of the evil soviet socialist empire. But it really comes as no surprise. After all, why would he want to participate in celebrating the defeat of the very system that he is currently working so hard to impose upon the American people?

But GOD fearing, freedom loving Americans can and should be very proud of the part that America played in the destruction of the Berlin wall, and that it was her best and brightest, serving in the Army, Navy, Marine corps and Air Force, who prevented the evil soviet socialist empire from conquering the world.

Now it is up to us the drive back and defeat that same evil, but this time from within out own government. We must make clear that we will not allow a wall to be constructed between ourselves and our GOD given, constitutionally recognized rights and freedom.

A Time for Choosing

While listening to the Rush Limbaugh show today, I was reminded that this week marks the 45th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s “A Time for Choosing” speech, which he made on a number of occasions, during the 1964 U.S. presidential election campaign, on behalf of Republican candidate Barry Goldwater.

It was this speech that established Mr. Reagan, in the minds of many, as a living personification of the conservative viewpoint. Not surprisingly, his words are as fitting and important today as they were the first time he spoke them.
