From Her Heart
The following was writen by my wife in response to the song and video "For My Country", which I posted yesterday in honor of our veterans on Veterans Day. I felt that her thoughts needed to be shared, especially as they are coming from the heart of a mother of a young man who is serving in the defense of this great nation, aboard the USS Harry S. Truman. We are both VERY PROUD OF HIM.

"I don't cry often, I just get angry. This touched my real heart. I LOVE MY COUNTRY and my life in it. How DARE someone trusted to serve the people allow persons WITHIN OUR BORDERS to tear apart our fabric built on Faith in God and the strength of our people rather than BUILD OUR STRENGTH from within the heart of EACH AND EVERY AMERICAN ! Lets pray next year's elections find our people in a better frame of mind to do what's RIGHT FOR AMERICA not the UNITED NATIONS and get a new and powerfully committed Congress to SUPPORT our Constitution and our Bill of Rights and the foundations we have. WE are AMERICA, WE are FREE, WE have the God Given rights to SUCCEED and only though our successful standing can America continue to be the backbone and support structure the world has always depended on us to be! GOD BLESS AMERICA, but don't forget - America, bless GOD!!! AMEN!"

A Heart Felt Thank You!
I want to take a moment on this Veterans Day to offer my heart felt thanks and praise to all our active duty and veteran service men and women.

Without you brave men and women, the efforts that you put forth, the difficulties that you endured and sacrifices that you have made, this would not be the most free and therefore greatest and most prosperous nation in the history of the world.

Happy Birthday and Semper Fidelis
It was on this date, November 10, in the year of our LORD seventeen hundred and seventy five that the Continental Congress authorizes the establishment of a force of American Marines for service on land and sea in the American War of Independence.
The legislation reads (original text):
“Resolved, That two Battalions of marines be raised, Consisting of one Colonel, two Lieutenant Colonels, two Majors, and other officers as usual in other regiments; and that they consist of an equal number of privates with other battalions; that special care be taken, that no persons be appointed to office, or enlisted into said Battalions, but such as are good seamen, or so aquatinted with maritime affairs as to be able to serve to advantage by sea when required: that they be enlisted and commissioned to serve for and during the present war between Great Britain and the colonies, unless dismissed by order of Congress: that they be distinguished by the names of the first and second battalions of American Marines, and that they be considered as part of the number which the continental Army before Boston is ordered to consist of.
”Thus the Marine Corps was born,
and today is its 234th birthday.
Originally made up of recruits who were a rag tag mix of young adventurer seekers and street toughs; this newly created fighting force was quickly whipped into a crack contingent of seagoing soldiers. Over the years the Marines has become the world’s premier military organization, and has played a key role in defnding our GOD given Rights and Freedom.
Unfortunately the socialist liberals in this country have a somewhat lower opinion of the brave young men and woman who serve in the Corps to protect and defend our freedom. They have regularly libeled the Marines. For example…
* Congressman John (Jack) Murtha of Pennsylvania said “They killed innocent civilians in cold blood”
* Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts said “they terrorize women and children at night”
* Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois actually had the gall to compare our military personnel to the Nazis and Pol Pot’s regimes
And let us not forget the appeaser & thief .
* Barack Hussein Obama (Mmm Mmm Mmm), has described the brave young men and women who serve in our armed forces as “stupid”, “losers”, and “incompetent”, and has made the accusation that “They air raid villages”
These people, and all those like them, should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, and of their disgraceful disrespect for, and for their lies about, our most honorable of this nation’s citizens.
Thank our Father GOD in Heaven that there are still those Americans who admire and appreciate the Marines and other fighting men and women who have set their own lifestyles on hold, and laid their life’s blood on the line, so that we can remain free.

It Was 20 Years Ago Today
On this, the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, many people will watch videos, listen too recordings, read transcripts of, and share the great speech given by the greatest man to run for and be elected to the office of the President of the United States of America in the entire 20th century.
His words rang true on that twelfth day of June, in the year of our LORD nineteen hundred and eighty seven. And they ring just as true today.
It is a sad fact that B.O. has chosen not to personally attend the ceremonies commemorating the fall of that cold and ugly symbol so socialist enslavement of the people. He apparently is too busy to do so. So he made a video appearance instead. But then, that should come as no real surprise. The fall of that Berlin wall was possibly the most profound and momentous evidence and demonstration of the collapse of the evil soviet socialist empire. But it really comes as no surprise. After all, why would he want to participate in celebrating the defeat of the very system that he is currently working so hard to impose upon the American people?
But GOD fearing, freedom loving Americans can and should be very proud of the part that America played in the destruction of the Berlin wall, and that it was her best and brightest, serving in the Army, Navy, Marine corps and Air Force, who prevented the evil soviet socialist empire from conquering the world.
Now it is up to us the drive back and defeat that same evil, but this time from within out own government. We must make clear that we will not allow a wall to be constructed between ourselves and our GOD given, constitutionally recognized rights and freedom.
